The El Galleon resort is smack in the middle of a protected marine reserve created by the Philippine Government some twenty years ago. The diving at our resort is among the very best in the whole world and that is no exaggeration. Part of our resort is a PADI dive school called Asia Divers and here you can just go diving or improve your diving skills as part of your honeymoon. Asia Divers can teach scuba to any level from Novice diver to PADI Instructor. Indeed this is one of only two dive colleges in the entire Philippines qualified to train to that level. Learning to dive can add excitement to a romantic honeymoon   Learn to scuba as part of your romantic honeymoon. Here we like to mix a romantic honeymoon with excitement. Asia Divers. The diving here is awesome and there is just about ever imaginable type of diving on our doorstep. Depending on your skill you can also dive with a variety of gases from Air to Nitrox or Trimix and you can even ire underwater scooters for fun.

Whilst scuba diving and snorkeling are easily the most popular pass times here, there is a lot more to do besides swim or sit by the beach.

El Galleon translates from Spanish and means 'The Galleons' and it was in Puerto Galera they would load their ships with gold and treasure. Five minute walk along the beach from our resort lies the small town of Sabang with fruit and fish markets and regular shopping by day, but it is at night that Sabang really comes to life. There are lots of discos where you can dance, dozens of bars with every theme you can think of as well as restaurants catering for nationalities from all over the world. Or you may prefer to simply sip cocktails and listen to some live music as you enjoy your romantic honeymoon here.
