The Philippines is famous for the warmth of it's people and here at El Galleon we promise you exactly that warm welcome if you have your Philippines honeymoon with us.

The Philippines has become something of a honeymooning haven in recent years and it would be reasonable to ask what we have that makes this place so special.

Climate. We just have two seasons rather than the conventional four. We have the Wet Season from around April to October and the Dry Season November to March. The strange thing to foreigners though is that the vast majority of the rain in the Wet Season falls at night, making this the true equivalent of Camelot and why visitors come here all year round.

Cost.. For the cost of a cheap hotel in the West you can wallow in luxury here in the Philippines. The average wage of a labourer here is still under $1 US an hour. For example a MacDonalds burger in Manila the capital still costs just 50 US Cents.

Beaches and the sea. There are some of the finest beaches in the world here in the Philippines and if you love to swim you will be surprised at how warm the waters are. The waters at our resort are brought in by a current from the Mid Pacific and as well as being incredibly clear the temperature never falls below 25C or rises above 29C

Safety. The Philippines is very predominantly a Christian country. Indeed there are more Catholics here than in Italy. On a Philippines honeymoon you can truly relax.

Ideally we would like to walk your round our resort so that you could see exactly what we have to offer you here, but as that is not possible we have created a series of short movies which we hope will give you a good idea of what you might expect here.

If you like to swim, snorkel or scuba, this is one of the premier dive resorts in the whole world.

We are situated bang in the middle of a protected fish reserve created by the Philippine government some twenty years ago.

Asia Divers is a part of the El Galleon resort ad regardless of whether you might be a novice diver or more advanced, this is a 5 Star PADI dive school.

Here you can experience every possible kind of diving just 10 - 15 minutes boat ride form the resort.

No matter how much you might enjoy being in the water you will inevitably spend a lot more time out of the water than in it and there are lots of things you might like to experience during your vacation.

Five minutes walk along the beach from our resort lies the small town of Sabang. Here you can find much of the night life for which the Philippines is famous. Discos where you can dance the night away. Restaurants to suit every taste and nationality and bars galore. Or, you could choose to sit back sipping a drink and listening to a live band.
