A Philippine diving and honeymoon resort

A recent survey showed that once someone has been scuba diving here, they will return an average of ten times.

We think the main reasons for such popularity can be put down to a comparitively small number of reasons. And among them we think the first may well be cost. The average wage here for an unskilled worker in 2011 is still below $1 US an hour. For the cost of a comparatively cheap hotel room in the west you can live in luxury here. Another reason we think is the climate. We have no winter. The Philippines is suitable for honeymoons all year round.

Then there is the question of safety. The Philippine people are almost all Christian. Indeed lets of people are surprised when they learn there are actually more Catholics here than in Italy. In general terms this means that you are safe to honeymoon, drink and dance all night if that is your wish. Something you would be well advised not to do in some parts of Asia.

It would be totally impossible to fully describe the marine life here and hence the link on the left will show you underwater shots.

There are some very definite reasons though for this being known as 'The Center of the Center for marine bio diversity@ I think that is a long winded way of saying we have 60% of the world's known species of shallow, saltwater fish in the world on our doorstep. We also have more varieties of corals than even the Great Barrier Reef.. The Philippine Government made the entire area round our resort a protected marine reserve around 20 years ago.

Whatever your diving skills and abilities Asia Divers can provide your needs. We have a variety of over 20 different dive sites all within ten minutes of us by boat. We provide instruction and PADI qualifications from Novice right up to PADI Instructor and only 2 schools in the Philippines are qualified to that level.

Depending on your skill level you can also dive with a range of different gases and equipment. We use and provideAir, Nitrox, Trimix or rebreathers that you can hire here. You can also hire underwater scooters for some fun.

Regardless of how much you may love to dive you will enivitably spend a lot more time out of the water than in it. Consequently we have made sure there are a wide range of things you can do when you honeymoon with us, besides diving. You can pan for gold in the streams behind our resort. You can join regular boat trips and excursions. Picnic on a deserted tropical beach under the Asian stars. You can simply go trekking, kiaking, or even play golf on one of the strangest courses in the world. The Ponderosa Golf Club welcomes all our guests and her toy get driven to the clubhouse 2,500 feet up a mountian then play your game down to sea level.

The more adventurous can go up jungle and meet tribes like the Manyan.
