Professional Career Path For The Non-Diver
Maybe you have tried diving at a resort while on holiday. Maybe you have seen other divers having fun or have an interest in the aquatic environment. Maybe you are looking for a change of career. The Platinum Program is offered by iDAP College to start you on the road to becoming a professional Divemaster or Instructor. We designed this program specifically for the individual who wishes to pursue a career in the recreational scuba industry but who has not yet entered their initial Open Water Diver certification course.
 The Platinum Program is conducted over an 7 week time period and includes the following courses:
- PADI Open Water Diver
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

- PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver
- PADI Night Diver
- PADI Deep Diver
- PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy
- PADI Search and Recovery Diver
- Emergency First Responder (EFR)
- EFR Care for Children
- DAN Oxygen Provider
- PADI Rescue Diver
- PADI Master Scuba Diver (optional - PADI's highest recreational credential)
- PADI Divemaster (PADI's first Professional Membership Level)
- Divemaster Internship/Experience

During the Platinum Program you will log a minimum of 70 dives that will give you the required number of dives to enter the IDC. All of these will be conducted at any of the more than 30 dive sites within 15 minutes from the resort. Your open water training dives will take place among the beautiful coral reefs, walls and a wide variety of wrecks located along the Puerto Galera shoreline. The program was developed with a view to the potential IDC candidate to better prepare you for the IDC, IE and life as an Instructor. This training also gives you the prerequisites and required number of dives to complete Specialty Instructor training should you wish to either before or after your Instructor Examination.
Completion of the Platinum Program results in a total of 14 certifications if you apply for the Master Scuba Diver and Divemaster DSD Internship, and gives you the necessary foundation on which to build your upcoming Instructor training. You may continue with instructor level courses once you have been certified for at least six months as an Open Water Diver. When you become an iDAP College Instructor graduate, you will qualify for our exclusive free lifetime job placement service.
This training package includes all tuition, all training materials, all certification fees (except PADI Application fees for Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster, Divemaster DSD Internship and optional PADI Oxygen First Aid Distinctive Specialty), all boat fees, all tank and weight belt rental fees, all equipment rental fees up to Rescue Diver. There is also an optional 30-dive package rate to bring your total number of dives up to the 100 required to attend the IE or extra weeks of Internship.
