Some PADI Instructors will find that they have a need or desire to audit a complete PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC.)
This may be required by PADI in order to return to Active Teaching Status after a lapse in PADI Membership. Requirements to regain Active Teaching Status are based on several factors. Please be sure to contact PADI first to verify what is required for your particular situation. We will have to in turn contact PADI for verification.
Some IDC Staff Instructors will choose to audit an IDC in order to gain valuable and required experience in the PADI Instructor Development process. This may be to meet PADI Master Instructor prerequisites or Course Director Training Course prerequisites. Either way you can be assured of being an active part of the team and gain valuable insight in to the professional running of an Instructor development Course. We offer IDC Staff Instructors the opportunity to improve their staffing skills along side our team. Being part of such a comprehensive program will improve your chance of success in the dive industry. Our Staff Instructors are fully involved in all aspects of our programs including morning staff briefing sessions, debriefings and counseling during the program.
