| Situated on the island of Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro is the jewel of the Philippines.
.
There is a very special ocean current running right past the El Galleon resort. This is known as the Verde Island Passage and this brings such oxygen rich pure water here that we have more varieties of fish on our doorstep than in the whole of the Red Sea. The water temperature too is ideal and never varies beyond the range of 25C to 28C making scuba diving and snorkeling very popular with honeymoon couples here. Click on the picture below to see some of the amazing marine life here and see why the Philippines Government made the entire area round us a protected marine reserve.
Asia Divers is art of the El Galleon resort and teaches hundreds of people to scuba dive every year. Whether you are a novice or an experianced diver we have the dive sites and the diving course to suit you. Here we train right up to the PADI Instructor level making us one of only two dive schools in the Philippines so qualified. A few still pictures of our Philippines honeymoon and family resort. Just a very few minutes stroll along the beach from El Galleon will bring you to the small town of Sabang. Here you can shop or wander round the vegetable and food market by day. At night though the town turns into a mini Las Vegas with the night life guaranteed to entertain you. There are numferous bars and restaurants to suit every tasts and nationality. You may chose to sit outside under the canopy of stars as only Asia can show. You might decide to go to a bar and listen to live music or go to one of the half a dozen discos where you can dance the night away.
