Think of sun drenched sandy beaches, with tropical palms coming right to the beach, where the warm waters of the Pacific lap gently on the shore and that is us. The El Galleon resort was created many years ago and is is situated right at the beachand nestled among coconut palms. You may ask why it is that we are so popular with honeymoon couples, so let me try to expllain. Why honeymoon in Asia with El Galleon? Firstly COST Just about everyone has a budget for their honeymoon and the Philippines is a lot cheaper than you might imagine. Our room charges start at just $51 a night and for that you wallow in five star luxury. The average hourly wage for an unskilled worker here is still less thn $1 US an hour so your budget is likely to go a lot further than you expected.   Secondly the WEATHER We have just two seasons to our year known as the Wet Season and the Dry season. The Dry season runs from November to April but even in the Wet Season the vast majority of the rain falls during the night, making the resort busy all year round.

Then SAFETY The Philippines is mainly a Christian country who welcome tourists of all colors and creeds. Would that all of Asia was as safe for tourists as the Philippines.

The SEA here. If you would like to spend at least some of your time in the water you should know that t is akin to being in a warm bath and that the water temperature never wavers beyond 25 - 27C and is some of the purest in the world, never mind just Asia.

Because of the wonderful water here the marine life is second to none. At our resort you can see a larger variety of fish species than in the entire Red Sea and we literally have more varieties of coral than in the entire Great Barrier Reef.

Not surprisingly therefore the Philippines government made the entire area a protected marine reserve. If you snorkel or dive you will be in heaven here.

Diving in the Philippines with Asia Divers.

Asia divers is one of the premier dive schools in all Asia and train people from novice beginners right up to PADI Instructor level. Indeed, Asia Divers are one of only two dive schools in the entire country to train to this level.

Here you can die with or learn to dive with Air, Nitrox or Trimix You can also hire an underwater scooter for fun or cave/wreck diving.
