There is a very special current which runs from the mid Pacific down past our diving and beach resort here in the Philippines. The name of this current is the Verde Island Passage and it brings super oxygenated water loaded with nutrients to us.

Add to this that the sea water temperature here, just 2 hours South of Manila is a constant 25C to 27C all year round and you can begin to understand why 60% of all the known species of shallow (Continental shelf) seawater fish are found on our very doorstep. What to expect when you come here.

A honeymoon is, or should be a once in a lifetime thing. Here at the El Galleon diving resort we do our very best always to see that honeymoon couples who have a diving honeymoon with us here in the Philippines will have an unforgettable time and wonderful memories.

Whilst we like to think of ourselves as a honeymoon resort, we do have couples returning to us year after year. The Philippine Government conducted a survey among scuba divers and I think everyone was surprised to find that once someone has dived here in Puerto Galera, Philippines they will return on average ten times.
